Glam Ragdolls guarantees that this kitten is healthy to the best of their knowledge, following a thorough veterinary exam. This kitten is guaranteed for 72 hours against but not limited to the following ailments: upper respiratory infection, internal and external parasites, Feline Leukemia Virus (FELV), Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). The buyer has 72 hours to take the kitten to a veterinarian for a health exam. If any health concerns are found, the buyer may return the kitten to the seller within 72 hours with a written explanation from the attending veterinarian. No medical or travel charges will be refunded, only the cost of the kitten.
The kitten’s parents have been DNA tested, and kitten is negative for Ragdoll Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM) and Polycystic Kidney Disease(PKD) by parentage.
Glam Ragdolls guarantees to replace the kitten with one of equal quality, if licensed veterinarian determines that the kitten has a life threatening genetic disease. A report signed by veterinarian must be presented to Glam Ragdolls, stating unquestionably a genetic or congenital defect. Glam Ragdolls will replace the kitten with one of equal quality when one becomes available. Monetary compensation will not be provided.
In the event of the death of the kitten within the first 5 years of life due to an inherited genetic disease, the buyer must inform the seller and provide a necropsy report from a licensed veterinary pathologist stating unquestionably a genetic or congenital defect. The seller will then replace the cat/kitten with one of equal quality as soon as one becomes available. No monetary compensation will be provided.
Glam Ragdolls does not guarantee against treatable illness, including upper respiratory infections, eye infections or temporary loose or runny stool, as these are symptoms that can occur during transition periods such as changing homes, depending on how kittens respond to stress. Glam Ragdolls has provided a list of currently used/ recommended products for the Buyer’s convenience. Changing food can stress the kitten, causing digestive upset and litter box issues. In order to minimize stress of transition for the kitten, we recommend changing food type no sooner than 1 month after adoption.
Buyer agrees to learn the warning signs of FIP and work closely with his/her veterinarian in order to act quickly in the unlikely event your cat/kitten is diagnosed. In the event of the death of the kitten within the first year of adoption due to FIP, the buyer must inform the seller and provide a necropsy report from a certified veterinarian. The seller will then replace the cat/kitten with one of equal quality as soon as one becomes available. No monetary compensation will be provided. Regardless of treatment choices or outcome, Buyeragrees to report any suspected case of FIP to Glam Ragdolls.
· Provide a clean environment and veterinary care as needed for this cat/kitten throughout its life.
· If required, vaccinate for Rabies only after 4 months of age.
· To thoroughly research Feline Leukemia Virus (FELV) vaccine, before administering. It is a known fact in Ragdoll breeder community that Ragdolls are sensitive to this vaccine. As Ragdolls are indoor only cats, this vaccine is unnecessary. If buyer determines to administer the vaccine, buyer understands the risk for vaccine injury and that breeder health guarantee does not cover vaccine injuries.
· Not to allow the cat/lkitten to freely roam outdoors.
· Not to declaw the cat/kitten, or pay breeder damages of $5000 per paw and surrender the kitten to breeder without compensation.
· Not to keep the cat/kitten caged.
· Not to allow children or other animals to harass, injure, mishandle this cat/kitten.
· Not to resell, gift or trade the cat/kitten. If at any point circumstances arise where you are no longer able to care for the cat, buyer agrees to contact breeder for rehoming guidance.
· Buyer may not surrender cat to shelter or research facility.
· Buyer may surrender cat to breeder. No refunds will be provided.
· To contact breeder to resolve any concerns that arise, rather than slandering online or on social media.
Glam Ragdolls will not be held liable for any costs incurred after the kitten leaves Glam Ragdolls premises (including veterinary, health care, medications, etc.).
This is a “Legal Binding Document”. If legal proceedings become necessary, the Buyer agrees all legal and/or court proceedings take place in the State and County in which the Glam Ragdolls presently resides and the Glam Ragdolls’s maximum liability to the Buyer for any and all losses, claims, damages, or liabilities of any kind shall be limited to the amount paid by the Buyer to Glam Ragdolls for this kitten under this contract. Any breach of this contract will void the 5 year Health Guarantee and all terms and conditions remain in effect for the life of the kitten.
By signing below, both the Buyer and Glam Ragdolls indicate they have read, understand and agree with ALL the provisions of the above and agree to abide by these terms of this contract.
